36% of 13 years-old girls describe themselves as confident –  compared to only 23% of 18 year-olds. 

At age 13, 42% of girls select smart as one of their top characteristics – compared to only 28% of 18-year-olds.

As young girls age, especially between the ages 14 and 18, their confidence level drops drastically. With the pressures of society, and without a positive role model or mentor, it’s hard for them to believe in themselves. In fact, 93% of girls interested in finance and 86% of those interested in STEM say that they would feel more confident with a mentor. 

At Guide N Grow HER, we aim to provide young girls with exactly that – a mentor that can guide them through areas of interest, or whatever else they may need an upstanding role model for. Our program (which is by women, for girls) is one of a kind in its aim to create a safe space for mainly high school girls to grow themselves and explore their interests.
