Guide N Grow is the sponsor for the MH SWENext team, and most notably collaborates with them on their Girls In Gear Workshop. Girls in Gear is a 6 session series for girls grades 3-8 to help them gain interest in STEM in a comforting and supporting environment. Each Girls In Gear Cohort has about 50 girls and this cycle repeats after each series.  Our goal is to equip these girls with the tools and mentality that they will need to stand up to gender based discrimination in further STEM fields and stand up for themselves. Last month Guide N Grow conducted a Robotics Showcase by inviting Mountain House FTC robotics team BattleBots and FRC robotics team San Jose Gear Heads. It was a big hit in the community with 300+ people attending across two sessions.

This summer, Guide N Grow organized a week-long Public Speaking workshop for middle schoolers at Mountain House! Over the week, we saw a visible change in the students' confidence and public speaking skills.
